ABOUT ORCHID

A place built around the child and family

Orchid Care home and rehabilitation center is a pediatric rehabilitation center for young children aged 18 months to 6 years with autism and other developmental needs. We provide a multidisciplinary approach that brings together therapy, education and family support to help children with autism and developmental needs communicate, learn, participate and become independent.

Orchid provides autism-focused early intervention and pediatric rehabilitation in a coordinated setting. Our therapists and educators work together to understand each child’s strengths, developmental needs and challenges, and to set practical goals that are meaningful for the child and family.

  • Early support: Starting intervention during the early developmental years when children are learning rapidly.
  • Individualized goals: Because two autistic children of the same age may have very different strengths and support needs.
  • Functional skills: Focusing on skills that have meaning beyond the therapy room.
  • Family involvement: Because progress is stronger when parents and caregivers understand what their child is learning.
  • Teamwork: Bringing different professionals together rather than treating each area of development in isolation.

We work on skills that children use every day, from communicating and playing to following routines, learning, eating, dressing, toileting and participating in classroom activities.

Rather than treating areas in isolation, therapy, classroom learning and family partnership are coordinated so children can generalize skills to real-world environments.

  • Communication & Expressive Language
  • Social Interaction & Shared Play
  • Sensory Regulation & Comfort
  • Fine & Gross Motor Development
  • Self-Care, Feeding, Dressing & Hygiene
  • School Readiness & Classroom Routines

Our Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed primarily for young children aged 18 months to 6 years with autism and other developmental delays who need structured support during the early years.

The program combines early education and developmental intervention in one environment, utilizing play, classroom routines, and structured intervention opportunities.

  • Structured early education and developmental intervention
  • Montessori-inspired early learning environment
  • Therapy and early education working together seamlessly
  • Individualized developmental goals instead of one-size-fits-all
