Building functional independence for everyday life.
Our occupational therapy program addresses areas such as fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, feeding-related skills, play, and functional independence. We empower children to engage with confidence in their daily activities at home, at center, and in the community.
What we work on:
- Fine Motor Skills: Developing hand strength, finger dexterity, grasp patterns, and bilateral coordination needed for drawing, cutting, and manipulating objects.
- Play-Based Intervention: Play is one of the most important ways young children learn. We integrate structured play to foster imitation, problem-solving, attention, and creative exploration.
- Self-Care & Daily Living: Cultivating essential self-help skills including independent feeding, dressing, unbuttoning/zipping, hand washing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Sensory Processing & Regulation: Helping children modulate and adapt to sensory inputs so they feel calm, focused, and comfortable in various settings.
- Visual-Motor & Cognitive Integration: Enhancing hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to follow multi-step activity routines.
Carry-Over into the Home
We work in close partnership with parents to provide practical home adaptations and routines that turn everyday moments into opportunities for building independence.
