Preparing children for the classroom environment.
Our School Readiness program bridges the gap between individual therapeutic intervention and the social, academic, and behavioral expectations of a regular or inclusive school environment.
Skills We Develop:
- Classroom Routines: Following daily schedules, sitting during group time, transitioning smoothly between activities, and lining up.
- Group Participation: Learning to share attention, take turns, follow group instructions, and participate in circle time and collective learning.
- Functional Independence: Managing school bags, opening lunch boxes, handling stationery, and asking for assistance appropriately.
- Pre-Academic Foundations: Early literacy, numeracy readiness, visual attention, listening skills, and task completion.
- Social Transitions: Helping children build confidence and resilience to navigate changes in caregivers, classrooms, and peer dynamics.
